Having trouble sending messages?

I can't send a message to the customer. When I click "send" it does not send the message.

What are you seeing when you click send?  Does it say ''The username you have entered is not a valid Etsy user''?

What error message are you getting?

There are 3 reasons messages are not working;

1. You could be blocked because Etsy thinks you have been sending SPAM (unsolicited messages). Message bans can last several weeks.
2. You could be trying to reply to a user who has been banned/account closed (user name invalid). Often this is because they were a scammer.
3. It could be a bug - try again later

What error message do you receive?
