Hello all and thank you for your help. Just wondering why my shopping cart ( the how you'll pay area) would be shaded preventing me from making a purchase. Thank you!
well, if you are trying to buy from yourself...you can't.
I'm not trying to buy from myself. I'm trying to purchase supplies.
Don't use the Etsy app on your phone. Try a browser like Edge on a tablet or laptop. Etsy hasn't been working well with all browsers.
Thank you! Great idea!
There have been quite a few OPs about cart problems. Some were sellers who were getting the ''stitch has gone awry'' page (as I am, too) and others were sellers reporting that they have gotten messages from buyers who cannot access their cart at all or got the awry page, the ''check out'' button is grayed out and other problems.
I purchased an item from another Etsy shop the other day and after purchasing it. It still showed it was in cart. But the purchase button was greyed out. So I waited a few hours then took it out of cart. As I had it already purchased. I contacted the seller and she finally found my order. She didnt even know she had an order. ugh
The cart has been broken, at least intermittently, since July ... because that's when I had trouble with the cart myself. At the time, I found a way around it because I'd thought to save some of the items I wanted as favorites. Then I bought them one at a time from the listings (it was a bunch of instant downloads from one shop).
If you're wanting to buy several different supply items from one shop, maybe message the seller and ask if they can set up a custom order for you? I don't know if that might work better. At least it would hopefully result in combined shipping!
Thank you! I will try that.
thats a great idea prairieprimitives.
I am trying to purchase some findings and I've tried on different browsers and also on my phone. Keep getting an error code " a stitch has gone awry".. I wonder how many sales I'm not getting because of this.
Quite...
what a beautiful shop you have! I love your about video showing your work bench
do they all have the same payment methods available
if not, etsy stops you buying anything, until they all have the same payment method
With so many new shops not having paypal available,
and many shops being paypal only
this could become an issue
Yes, they all have the same payment method available. So strange.
I've reported this issue several times as many of my clients complained about issues with checkout. Etsy says everything is okay, buyers still can't checkout, I've lost 1k eur in sales that I know about
