Have Stopped Receiving Message Notifications on My Dashboard

Over the last few days, I have stopped receiving message notifications in my dashboard.  I'm used to not getting email notifications for messages (and orders), but I was still seeing notifications for them in my dashboard.  I am used to seeing the red alert by the messages tab and also there would be a pop up of the message on the bottom right.  I'm using Edge on a laptop, not the app.  Anyone else experiencing this?  

I check my dashboard quite often but am now having to go into messages directly to see if there is anything new.  This could be a huge problem for sellers who don't check frequently, putting their Star Seller status at risk.  

I will contact Etsy but am posting here so others are aware of this issue.

That sounds like a glitch.  Have you tried signing out, then back in?

Etsy suggested clearing the cache (which I already do frequently) and trying another browser, which I am trying.  Supposed to report back how that goes to see if message notifications show up on the dashboard.  They also claimed that they found an issue why I wasn't receiving notification emails and fixed it.  Will wait and see how that goes too.  I'll repost here with results.

I've been missing sales transaction emails, I reported it and supposedly the problem is fixed, will shall see?

Just a follow up on this.  After chatting about the problem with Etsy yesterday, I am now getting the message notifications on my dashboard again.  I'm also seeing emails for messages and orders as well, which I have not been receiving for quite a long time.  I did not change browsers, so there must have been something else wrong besides browser compatibility.  Regarding the email notification issues, the person said I had opted out (which I had not) and also that the emails were bouncing back for some reason.  I haven't changed anything for years on my end and it used to work, so I think it was on their end, not mine.

If you are having any of these issues, try the chat option and you might get it fixed.

Now we just have to see if it will be a lasting fix!
