Has anyone been succesful in getting their shop re-opened.

My shop pipeworkpieces will be in the forced vacation mode a week as of midnight. 

Has anyone had any success and what steps did you take to get your shop re-instated ?

Although I have been a seller on etsy for 5 years now with 2000+ sales they keep giving me the run around and say my documents are not in order. Yet I sent them documents I received from the Canadian government proving yet again all my documents and numbers are in order as they have been for the past 5 years.

Still no luck .

I get a reply to email asking me to re upload the same document and then don't hear back for 48 hours from them. This has been going on since I woke up Wed morning last week.

Starting to wonder if Arthur and Bruno are actually BOTS and not human as they don't seem to care enough to help and see the issue through until it is resolved.

Hi Lewis,

It’s been 5 days for us (heading toward a full week on Thursday), except we haven't received any communication from Etsy—not even a single email. We’re also a Canadian seller from Ontario with a legally registered corporation. All required documents were submitted and successfully verified a while ago, and no additional requests have been made.

I attempted to chat with an agent through my second shop (which is still active), and they mentioned they “cannot disclose the reason for suspension.” I was confused and clarified that I was referring to a forced vacation with no explanation, not a suspension. They said they would escalate the issue and they cannot disclose the reason, but it’s been days with no follow-up.

To make matters worse, I can no longer reach support through chat on my active shop—no responses. When I attempt to request a callback, I receive an error message that says, “Hmm, something went wrong.”

At this point, I’ve tried everything I can think of—removing and re-adding my credit card, double-checking all my business numbers (BN and GST), and verifying that my driver’s license is still uploaded and active.

The support is non-existent. I’ve exhausted every option and still have no answers, and like you, I hope someone else does.

I know it is so frustrating. I am not getting any reply anymore other than the two I received which were a joke saying my business number is different from when I first set up my etsy payment account 5 years ago. NOTHING has changed.

I was able to send an email to CNN as a possible story letting them know about the 100's of forced vacation modes put upon Etsy sellers for no valid reason.

I am not sure if they will reply but I am hoping something changes here as I rely on my sales to pay my shops rent as I am sure so many others do as well.

I have not been able to resolve my issue for several weeks now. I posted a support thread asking for help and they closed it saying they'd reach out to me directly. That was 12/13 and still no response. As far as I can tell, they've disabled their chat and call back options. My cases have been either being ignored or closed without any reaching out to me. I'm sorry I can't be of more help but I am in the same situation!

My shop was put on vacation mode as well two days ago...I'm losing my mind. The busiest time of year, I'm doing everything right, I was getting orders left & right, shipping them all out days before my processing dates. All my info is up to date. I'm so incredibly upset. This is so infuriating, it's inhumane to be treated this way. Not a single word from Etsy as to why this happened. I haven't had my shop on vacation mode once in the 7 years I've been a seller. My funds are being held so I'm not even being paid for all my long hours. I'm wondering if there's something that can be done to hold Etsy accountable for this sabotage of our businesses...?

@OurCraftyNestCo I feel for you and yes I wish there was a way to hold Etsy responsible for loss of income but highly doubt anything can or will be done.

Just hoping to get my shop back. Luckily I have seen an increase in sales on my own website which is helping me this week with loss of income from Etsy.

Going on 5 days now.   Short conversations with chat support before they end it.   No response from our support ticket.   No information at all.  It's almost like there is a severe backend problem they are trying to resolve, but don't have enough staff to work through the problem.  Leaving all of us in the dark.   Or they are being told to not share any details.

I posted twice here yesterday, and my shop was back right away. Maybe my wording was a bit strong and desperate? That's the only explanation I can think of.
