HELP! Etsy customer service is not working at all

Hello,

I am writing to tell our story and warn other sellers about poor and unhelpful Etsy customer service. On October 25th I have been logged out of my shop (The Wrinkles Shop) and when I tried logging back in, it stated that the password is incorrect. When trying to reset my password, I noticed that the email associated with the account does not receive any emails from Etsy. I contacted Etsy support asking to change the current email address so I could receive the link to change my password and log into the account. Please note that I am a seller and I have orders waiting to be shipped yet I am unable to inform buyers about delays due to this technical problem.

It now has been 3 weeks since I am unable to log into my account. The shop now has been suspended and Etsy customer service did not respond since October 31st. When they responded, the emails were vague and absolutely unhelpful. I also tried creating a new account and chatting with them on live chat, however, they state that they have a specialist for this situation who will contact me via email. Of course, the specialist never contacted me. It is hard to imagine what my customers are thinking because their orders haven‘t been shipped since October 25th and I am unable to contact them. This has been an extremely frustrating experience.

Hopefully, seeing this letter, Etsy support will contact me and finally, help resolve the issue that has been going on for too long. If any member of this community knows what I could possibly do in this situation, please do let me know.

sorry this is happening to you, all you can do is wait till someone from customer service contacts you and pray it is not a irrelevant copy and paste reply. Maybe one of the moderators can get you in touch with the right person, there must be someone real working in the customer service department because some people seem to receive quick help without any problems at all after coming to this forum

If you have orders that were placed while your email was still connected to your Etsy account, you can contact the buyers by email to let them know about the situation. Their emails are in the order confirmation that is sent to your email address.

Thank you for your responses. As previously mentioned, I do not receive any emails from Etsy (including the link to change my password), therefore, I do not have emails of my customers and I cannot contact them.
