Hi! I’m a star seller and I’ve been on Etsy for 11 years, with over 4000 sales. Can anyone explain how to get the info that appears for my shop on a basic google search to be accurate to my shop’s stats?
My shop: 5 star average, 1743 reviews.
Google shows: 4.8 star rating, 720 reviews.
It may not matter to some, but showing my shop as having less than 5 star average could dissuade some people from clicking through to the shop from Google search. I can’t find the option directly chat with Etsy about this anymore either…
I doubt Etsy support can help you since it’s a google problem
@PhenomenalGems: This is a Google issue not an Etsy one. Your shop home page may not have been crawled for a long time or Google may have its own rules about what time period to use for sales and reviews.
if you just click the reviews.
where it says 720.
you will realize the reviews are not for your shop.
google has been doing that for at least a year.
this is the page you land on when you click 720.
https://customerreviews.google.com/v/immersivemerchant?q=etsy.com&c=US&v=19
it is just random reviews.
@nineteen27: Good catch. Keep forgetting that in reality Google is indexing Etsy and not our individual shops and for all practical purposes our shops are just another Etsy page to them.
