My location near my home can't accept packages.  There are six within 20 miles of me, all of them can't accept packages either.  I was told of one location 25 miles from me that was still up for now.

UPS is having the same problem.

I think both may be related to a Microsoft outage.

My daughter called to tell me because she couldn't pay her cable bill.  Funny- our computers and devices are working?

The issue is primarily affecting corporate computers and servers (all of which are running the Windows operating system). The outage was caused by a flawed update from a cybersecurity firm whose software is used globally by many companies to protect their Microsoft systems.

Just to be a little safer I turned off updates on my windows computers for awhile
