Glitch with Review Star Display

Hello, I noticed that a recent review left by one of my customers is being displayed as four stars out of five. I was curious why, since they seemed very happy with it, and I saw that on the item page the review displays four stars all around, but five in each category for item quality, shipping, and customer service! I'd include a screenshot if I could. Obviously this is a glitch, and a very problematic one. I don't think I'm the first person to experience this issue, and even one subpar review can have a real impact on small shops.

Because they only clicked 4 stars, not 5.

The sub reviews stars are totally separate from the main review stars.

If they clicked 4 stars for the main review, that's what it is. It isn't based on the sub review stars.

I don't see any 4 star reviews in your shop. They're all 5 stars. Good job!

@GoblinVillage: "Obviously this is a glitch, and a very problematic one." Based on your description, there is no glitch. The sub reviews can only be left on some devices and are not considered in Star Seller calculations (or your shop's overall star rating). Conversely, the buyer could have left you one star for customer service and five stars overall, and only the overall stars would count.

Those sub sections and the overall rating are not connected - they are all separate ratings.

I've had this with 5 stars for all sub sections but 1 star overall (yes, one star!) I don't know what happened and I did contact the buyer but heard nothing. So there's nothing to be done. I'd be happy with the 4 stars.

@GoblinVillage   The sub stars do not relate or are part of the main star.  She clicked 4 stars and that is what it is.

Now if she were on the app especially an older version that may be why as there was a time when it was impossible to leave 5 star.

I just has a customer tell me that she TRIED to click on the 5 stars for my review but there is some kind of glitch and it would not Allow her to click on 5 stars!! I came here to see if anyone else is having this issue! Etsy is not letting my customer leave 5 star review so she left only 4 stars! Ugh!

@ShoreCrafty If the person was using the App, then this is a known problem. The Buyer can update to 5 Stars, presuming they want to, by using a Broswer on a Phone/Device or a PC/Laptop
