Glitch for shop owners who are trying to charge domestic & international rates
I have learned that I'm one of many shops that are experiencing the glitch of having the prices I have set for domestic and international not be showing on the customer side.
This means all sales that come into my shop, no matter where they come from, are all paying the domestic price, which is the lower one. I am a small shop and one of my main items is stickers. The lower rate barely covers the cost of the envelope and postage for international *if* it does. I am at times going totally out of pocket for sales right now.
I first opened a case about this issue 2 months ago. I kept checking in on it and was told the issue would be fixed in the order it came in.Then, I checked in recently and the issue showed it was closed with no fix and no communication to me about it. A message on the Etsy system said that if the issue wasn't resolved to open a new case, which I did... again.
I was told this:
"Upon checking, It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue that our engineering team is looking into. I’ve added all of the details from this ticket to their investigation so they have more information to work with. Thank you so much for reporting this, it lets us know how widespread the issue is and helps our teams prioritize fixes."
I have asked each time I've opened a case when the issue will be fixed and also asked for compensation for the losses to my shop due to this glitch. I have received answers on neither.
If I price my items higher, I lose domestic sales. If items going international continue to pay my domestic rate- I lose money. I lose money both ways and am not a high volume seller.
Has anyone received any real information around this issue? If not, who can be contacted at Etsy who can actually prioritize working on this? It impacts many sellers and many people are losing money off of this.
Is there a team committed to fixing this? Why can they not provide us any updates on how it will be fixed?
Will it just never be fixed? If it will never be fixed, shouldn't this be communicated?
We are now going into holiday season. When will there be some transparency around when this issue will be fixed?

Unfortunately, this Domestic/Internationl pricing issue has been a problem for quite some time. Are you using the Old or New version of the Listing Page? There have been reports from others that using the Old Listing version solved their issue.

Has this issue been fixed for you ? I have been experiencing the same thing lately and got the exact same reply from Etsy. Doesn’t happen to every international orders but happens randomly which is annoying!
