Getting no support from etsy support

Have been attempting to reach out to etsy in all ways possible, email, twitter/x. My account is attached to an old email and the "codes" to confirm the transfer to a new email is getting lost somewhere so I can't even updated my email. Been sitting in vacation mode for a week. Feeling hopeless and just want to speak to a person to solve this all already.

Are the codes going to the old email?   I doubt if Etsy can do anything to help with that so you will need to try to reinstate and gain access to the old email by getting in touch with the provider.

I have access to the old email, the codes are literally not showing up in my inbox. I don't believe it is an email situation entirely, though, because I've been sending test emails to the old email and they are coming through fine.

I'm assuming you checked the spam folder on the old email?

Have you tried live chat and logged a support ticket for a callback?

I've checked everything on the old email, funny enough I have gotten back all the support request emails but none of the emails with the code.

 

I am unsure where to find the live chat option, and I have attempted to give them my number as well but still nothing.

Definitely get onto live chat. Depending on your time zone it will or will not appear at certain times of the day. As you go through the help sections and prompts keep typing ‘speak with an operator’ and you’ll eventually have the option.

It's been almost 2 months I can not reach support chat bumps me to email or is unhelpful. I find calling to be far superior in getting to the point and solving problems rather than typing away. Chat customer support has a wall between the seller and themselves. They are quick to move you on and refer to a handbook that Ive read a million times.

It has been so many weeks and I've almost solved the email problem? Even after updating my email they ask if my old email is the correct one, even though I had it updated by someone on the Etsy team AND had confirmed with several "support" that things would be going to my new email. Still no word on my shop being in vacation mode other than it has been "escalated" but I still keep getting emails to "submit info to get your shop out of vacation mode".
