Get a your listing wasn’t published error message.

Over the last two days I haven’t been able to publish any of my listings. I have tried to create a new listing, a draft and also tried to copy a listing. Nothing seems to work. I have been beyond frustrated. I also have done just about everything you can imagine technically to try and get this to work. I do all my Etsy work on iOS with ihone and iPad. I don’t have a laptop. I have reached out to support but all their suggested fixes haven’t helped. If any of you have any tips or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried reverting to the old form? There's an "old form" link at the top of the listing page. That usually works.

That was one of the suggestions from support but I can’t quite figure it out. I post all my listings on the app…I have tried to actually post on a web browser but every time it just takes me to the app. But I will keep looking. Thx for the response back.

@MorgsMerch: "... but every time it just takes me to the app ..." Try logging out of the app first and then going to etsy.com using your mobile browser. There are also settings on your phone to stop this behavior.

Re: Get a your listing wasn’t published error message.

I wonder if bots are preventing the listings because of the well known logos? You are obviously selling vintage, which is allowed, but the bots are like 3 year old children and can't tell right from wrong, just do what they want. I would escalate your issue with ETSY using the same email thread. Just keep replying that their solution is not solving the problem and you require more help. Or, if it is available, request a call back.

So you think maybe changing my logo would help? I will try anything at this point! Thank you for your response.

Re: Get a your listing wasn’t published error message.

@MorgsMerch Not your business logo, it might be the logos that are on the items themselves. A bot might be reading the pics as counterfeit or infringement when the items are actually safe to list because they are vintage. Hope that makes sense. I read somewhere in the forums that bots are reading the pictures themselves...

@MorgsMerch  - In this forum the issues with the new listing form discussed here:

https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/New-Listing-Tool/td-p/145696125

It does mention some work-arounds or various tips on things to ry.

I'm sure if you look thru all the other forums there are other threads on the topic.

Re: Get a your listing wasn’t published error message.

@MorgsMerch on the same page only I use laptop.  Etsy help suggested to use old listing tool but the old tool will retire soon.  So far for me, I must renew any listing first, then I can edit those listings.  Only the slip problem with this is some customers can see my listing before editing (maybe I should deactivate right after renewing it?  Anyways not the perfect solution, just my work around.)

Sharing and keep addressing about existing problems and hopefully Etsy can fix this ASAP before old listing tool's retiring.

Only one page of listings visable

Hi. I have this issue in my shop, have noticed it before. When you click a shop category (within my Etsy store) only one page of listings is visable. I cannot click page 2,3, etc.

Please advise. May be an issue in your store also!

Re: Only one page of listings visable

I looked at your shop and can click to the other pages from a category. ?? Some of yours only have one page, so be sure you're checking the ones with a lot more. :0)

@OneBakerStreet

I clicked on your pottery and porcelain category and was able to see 5 pages of listings.  Hope that helps!

Re: Only one page of listings visable

I clicked on a few sections in your shop and was able to click through multiple pages in that section. The only sections that didn't have multiple pages I could click through were those with 36 or less listings (because 36 is one full page).

Sounds like it may be related to a display issue on your end. My suggestion is to try clearing your cookies.

Re: Only one page of listings visable

When I go to your shop I can click on a section, navigate all the pages and see all your listings.
Are you possibly referring to the newish page display?  On the bottom of a page once a shop or a shop section has more than 3 pages of listing I see < 1, 2, 17 >. For me to go to page three in your shop I need to click on the arrow, I am no longer shown the number 3.

Re: Created a new listing, charging, but not saving

@TheColoredPixel: "... I am unable to revert to the old ..." If you are using a browser, there should be a banner at the top that says " Welcome to your updated listing experience! The old form goes away June 25. Explore this updated form, and optimize your listings with all of its time-saving features." and clicking on 'old form' should open it in a new tab.

Re: Created a new listing, charging, but not saving

Many Sellers are having trouble with the New Listing Form. Also, the site seems to be having issues. Here is another Thread. So I don't know which is contributing to your problem. I'm sorry you're having trouble though.

Bug when starting a new listing

I was getting error message: You cannot include any of the following characters: $ ^ "

I canceled and started a new listing page. My page is now defaulting with the above error message whenever I start a new listing. I was able to go back to the "old form" to complete my listing.

My concern is the old form is going away and the new form will still have that default message.

I cannot start a new chat because the old chat still exists and nobody is responding.

WHAT A MESS!!

Re: Bug when starting a new listing

@StylinPod

It might be as simple as there is a space before you start the title. Try backing up a space and see if that takes care of it.

Otherwise log all the way out of Etsy and log back in again and maybe that will clear things for you.

Re: Etsy Cart Down

How many items do you have in the cart?  There is a limit to how many you can add before it requires you to check out or remove items.  Also, if you have a large number and some are from shops in countries with restricted payment options, this could stop you from checking out in bulk.  You may need to try removing items one at a time to find the one that is blocking you from checking out. Lastly, I believe some payment methods only allow a specific number of items in a purchase as an anti-fraud measure.
