This message has popped up from nowhere in my shop in a blue band at the top.
Surprising as I have not set up any promotions at all and offer details is empty in my marketing - sales and discounts. Anyone know how I can delete the message from my shop? Thank you!
It's an Etsy promotion, they sent emails out yesterday. You don't need to do anything.

It's a good thing since Etsy pay it. Doesn't affect your payouts or profit margins at all. Just makes shoppers more likely to spend. Don't worry.
Strange that they kept the "10" in there for the UK, per Google, 1 USD = .82 Pound Sterling - not sure the buying power is the same. I wonder what the discount appears as for Australia, India, Europe, etc.?
I guess it's just to keep it simple. There is nothing over here in Europe so far. The last two were for €5
It's 10 off of 40 for any participating currency -- so it's the same percentage.
the only sellers that get the discount, are
usa buyers who buy in usa dollars,
canadian buyers who buy in canadian dollars,
UK buyers who buy in £ sterling,
and Germany buyers who buy in euros
and it's
$10 for $40
$cad10 for $cad 40
£10 for £40
euros 10, for euros 40
so the %age discount is all the same

All shops are included, I see the banner when I look at your shop.
You will not see the banner, or get the e-mail, because as a buyer you are not included.
I'm assuming that everything will look normal when it comes to our payout? I wonder if we will have any way of telling who is taking advantage of the coupon.
Personally I prefer that they don't do things like this because if etsy is paying it out of their pocket that is money out of my pocket. I would rather my fees go to other things.
It will have to be on the packing slip, as that shows what the customer paid, and any discounts they had
Is this per shop or for your entire cart?
Pretty sure it's per order. An order from just one shop or an order from multiple shops.
