GSPR and shipping profile

With the new GSPR regulations I am no longer able to ship from UK to EU or Northern Ireland. I cant remove Northern Ireland from my UK shipping profile. Can anyone help please?

There's been 0 communication from Etsy about this change but noticed an update to the handbook.

You can’t, we are all one “country” according to Etsy…

For UK sellers, we either all sell illegally, or stop selling here

Amazon handmade, ebay, folksy, and quite a few others have separated out GB and NI, try one or more of those

I have removed NI from where I sell

If you have turned on SSA - shipping setting automation, then that lets Amazon decide where you sell and timeframes, so you need to turn that off, then remove NI

Perhaps you could try messaging Etsy with this?

Many of us have done so, though so far they still haven't actually listened to our concerns.

I got canned (possibly AI) answers, which didn't actually address the situation in the slightest.

But if lots of people try, maybe, just maybe, they will eventually notice.

As you say the handbook has been updated and it states: If you list products for sale on Etsy, you must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements and Etsy policies applicable to those products and product listings.

So as it stands currently. Comply or don't sell.

Well, it certainly appears that Etsy doesn't care about the issue of Northern Ireland. And they will not give sellers a way to separate Northern Ireland as eBay, Amazon, and Folksy have.

I will have no choice but to quit Etsy. After over ten years of building the shop, it will all end with a click of my fingers. Back to eBay it is.

I need a declaration of conformity from Etsy for my technical file as I am trying to continue to sell to EU and Europe and I need an official declaration

To clarify, this only affects EU countries and NI?. 
I’m fortunate as I don’t sell hardly anything to the EU or NI and most of my business is done in the US, Canada,Australia and here, however if Etsy don’t remove their shipping option for UK and replace with one for England,Wales and Scotland, whilst the other option would be NI then we have no choice but to shut shop until it’s fixed. 
Whoever runs Etsy will soon realise when their turnover is reduced drastically due to lack of sales from UK shops as they are closed.

My only hope is that this suddenly doesn’t become a worldwide issue where you need to do this regardless of what country you sell to or else we are all screwed. No small business can afford up to 4k per year for An authorised representative . I only sell greetings cards I’m not selling radioactive material, I guess the EU thinks we are all dodgy with the “dangerous” things we sell.

Could a Community Manager please provide me with access to this thread?

Or at least confirm if there's a workaround that lets me exclude Northern Ireland when shipping to the UK?
