Hi, I have free shipping over $35 offered in my shop. I have clearly marked in the items’ descriptions that I will only offer USPS Ground as free shipping and for the customer to mark USPS Ground in checkout. However, it has been allowing my customers to request Priority as free upon checkout. This cuts into profits, as I have to pay myself for more expensive shipping. I like to offer free shipping over $35 but won’t be able to continue offering it if it allows customers to select any form of shipping for free. Does anyone know how to adjust the settings in a shop to only allow Ground as free shipping?
Is it the weight of your package? If the customer picks the items over 35.00 would they equal to 1lb? that would change it to priority

I’ll check this out, thanks!
@DragonFireGlass & @AlphabetSoupLetterCo Ground Advantage goes up to 70 pounds just like Priority Mail. In other words, Priority Mail is no longer mandatory for packages heavier than 1 pound. It's been this way since GA started (3 years ago?).
@PrairiePrimitives unfortunately, on Etsy they still default to priority.
@AlphabetSoupLetterCo: Are you using calculated shipping? If yes, then you also need to select Parcel Post otherwise packages over 15.99 ounces will default to Priority Mail. If a buyer actually selects (upgrades to) Priority Mail then you will receive the shipping cost.
Thanks — I’ll look at my shipping and keep this info in mind.
You can go into shipping and remove (uncheck) the ones you don’t want. I removed the non tracking cheaper option on mine
Calculated Shipping Profiles ... USPS ... in order to enable Ground Advantage shipping prices/times, you MUST select both First Class Mail & Parcel Post. You can also enable Priority Mail, but most buyers don't purchase that expensive service because shipping times are the same as GA.
GA enables you to ship anything up to 70#, with up to $100 insurance and true USPS tracking.
