Good morning, I recognize that this is a forum for sellers but I do not know how else to proceed. I am on day 17 of not hearing from someone at Etsy. My shop was put on 'pause/vacation' on the first day that I attempted to go live due to an error I made in completing the tax information. I have submitted all documents, and my shop dashboard shows 'verified and approved', and yet I am still on pause. I have left over 20 messages through the support request avenue but only get pre-generated responses that do not apply and then my request gets closed as 'resolved'. Nothing is resolved. I am frankly in shock at how difficult this is and am only pursing it to it's end because Etsy has my bank account information, social security number, etc. I am hopeful that my post might find its way to someone at Etsy who can help me.
Should I ever get to go live I am committed to providing amazing customer service, and am currently disappointed that the same standard does not appear to be in play from the platform to the sellers. I am hopeful for a different experience.

Do not keep on opening new messages. Etsy will automatically close them. Always answer the original message stating that you need help.
Etsy's customer service has a lot of issues. There are several million sellers on Etsy and they haven't developed a plan to answer them in an efficient manner. I am sorry you are having this experience.
