I am so upset, I have contacted Etsy over and over and gotten nowhere. I got the "update info" banner in my dashboard and submitted my drivers license again and it said everything was up to date. The banner remained, however. I kept asking customer service about it via chat and phone call and email. They all told me my information was up to date in the system, to ignore the banner.
Now my shop has been forced into vacation mode and Etsy will not pay me either. I'm a 12 year seller who has NEVER been in vacation mode. It's a holiday weekend, I was making a lot of sales with my shop on sale. I am devastated to have been lied to by support over the last week.
Can somebody please help, I have no idea what to do?! This is a glitch in the system, how can I get this in front of somebody who can try to address it? I feel so abandoned by Etsy right now.
Something worked, magically resolved! I am so thankful. I don’t know what did the trick, but thank you Etsy. It has been a hard week trying to work this out.
@PausePicture It's doubtful that Etsy will reply here in the forums or contact you.
They sometimes will "send your info to a team specialist".
I'm assuming you requested a call back from Etsy and did not call them from a # found online (those #'s are all scammers).
Don't bother with chat, they are outsourced and give out "incorrect" info all the time.
Chat cannot help with financial matters at all.
Contact Etsy through HELP, when you get a bot reply REPLY back that with " I STILL NEED HELP"
Don't start a new message, keep replying to that one.
Is your name on your DL the same as your SS card, DL, banking info?
It has to be exactly the same name.
Example, it can't be Jane Doe, Jane Ann Doe, Jane A. Doe.
Sometimes from what I read it can take weeks for Etsy to complete the verification and take sellers off vacay.
I have done everything you said to no avail. There is nothing wrong with my info, they show it complete! This is strictly a glitch and I can't believe I can't get to a technical team to resolve it. Desperate!

Did you have an unusual number of orders lately?
Have all your orders shipped?
Have you tried taking your shop off vacation yourself?
Wow is right. I am devastated. Etsy support is so broken, I have no words. I have not had an unusual amount of sales, all orders have shipped, I cannot take my shop off of vacation mode. This is strictly related to a glitch about seller info updating. I won't reset in their system even though they all tell me they show it is updated on their end. They always say they are "escalating" the issue but nobody ever gets back to me. I can do nothing but lose money and wait.
