Forced Holiday Mode without any email notice

Hi, I have been on forced holiday mode without any known reason. I have 2 messages visible on my etsy shop. 

"We put your shop on pause.

Your shop has been placed in temporary Holiday Mode to help you manage your current orders or give you time to verify your seller or business info. While you can’t receive new orders right now, you can still edit listings or draft new ones."

and 

"Your shop will stay in Holiday mode while we review your info

This means you won't be able to receive new orders until we finish verifying your info (which usually takes up to 48 hours after you uploaded your document). No need to do anything else right now – we'll reach out if we need more details from you."

 

I dont know why is that. I have all my verifications done and even in the message etsy is not demanding any business information.

You have a business registration of

  • IMPORTERS EXPORTERS LIMITED

    05369096 - Incorporated on 18 February 2005

    Unit 19, Horizon Business Centre, Alder Close, Erith, England, DA18 4AJ

so all that info must match exactly, with what you have put on etsy for your business.

you must also have your UTR, in additional taxpayer ID, and all that info, must match exactly with your personal info, ID and personal address

It all has to match, exactly, to the last letter

....

You  have 2 different active people on the register, are you using the correct one, that matches the owner of the account, not the other

....

Or, his might be a problem, as you don't appear to have a company director, the one you had resigned, as did the company secretary

Etsy is checking your ID and company info. That's all you need to know. As regulations change, Etsy has to recheck all your info every so often. I did mine in November - it took no time at all, but I'm a sole trader, not a company. I think the companies are taking longer.

It seems to be taking forever no matter what.  I am a sole proprietor and have been in vacation mode almost a month while this goes on.  I provide and respond right away but then it will be a week.  Then uploaded files go missing or move, then i'm asked in shop manager to upload them again.  I'm told to ask if I have questions but no one responds.  It's been an endless cycle of frustration and not currently taking no time at all.  It seems like others are going through the same frustration too with a very slow response time.  I'm glad yours was zippy!  Hopefully that can be the case again for others.

@PrairieViewBoutique nothing legal/ID related has changed on my account since I opened it so maybe that's why. I left all the details as they were and just clicked ok. I wonder if some people go and tweak things and then it doesn't match the previous detail so it forces Etsy to reverify.
