Core Details

The listing form will not accept the Core Details for any new listings.  I am not on an app. Multiple browsers , multiple devices, histories have been cleared.  Super frustrated.  Any help appreciated.

Can you copy one of your existing listings and change up the details as a workaround?

I would prefer ETSY fixed the glitches in the listing form.

I cannot believe Etsy have not FIXED this yet. It's been over a month now. 

We shouldn't have to use workarounds, just to list an item!!! Sigh.

Hi Everyone..

I see a new thread here about this.  There is one down a few pages.      Yes, it’s terrible they have not fixed this!   Last night I was able to use one of my deactivated items.  Go through the back door I guess you call it.   But keep in mind using a deactivated or inactivated item and editing it the old one goes away. That’s what I found out.  Not that I was going to ever use it.  But we shouldn’t have to be doing this trying to figure out how to list!     I keep thinking it’s me, my browser my electronic devices,,,,but I don’t think so if others are experiencing this!   I tried finding a live body to talk to yesterday!  Hate talking to robots!   Ugh!  Never able to!     So don’t know when this is gonna get fixed!   One problem after another all the time…  makes no sense!

@AQuiltIsBorn  Hi, Don't work on the actual Deactivated Listing. "Copy" it, then edit. That way the other listing stays intact. Hope this helps. And yes, it's ridiculous people have to do workarounds to list.

And I tried using a live listing…keep in mind it will change it.  Ughhhh,

@DapperScrapperCo   @AQuiltIsBorn  This has been going on for a while.  Mine fixed rather quickly. Did you put a ticket in with chat support?

I did, haven’t heard back yet. I’m using the copy work around but it’s taking twice as long to list this way.  I sell vintage so no two items are the same.

Well…. Dummy me. I did just discover something,,,I believe someone mentioned this.  I use both an iPad and desktop. But I turned my iPad vertical up and down it showed all of the 3 sections for the core details.  It took!  Shazam!  It worked!  I can’t believe it! .  I need to do some double checking,,,if that’s all it was, Oh is my Face Red!!!   

I’ve never had this happen before,,,, so if you use an iPad turn it Portrait style. Vertical.    I believe was called that.

I do the same on my laptop ... the core details page now works like a charm!  : )

Not saying it shouldn't be working but I can't remember the last time I made a listing from scratch. I find the new listing form annoying AF. Just faster and easier to copy and edit. All my boilerplate info at listing bottom doesn't have to be retyped.

Thank you to all the kind sellers that replied to this thread, I appreciate the help.  As of this morning, Saturday Feb 22 I have functionality in the Core Details part of the listing form.   Hope you do too.  Thanks again
