Hi, I just had a dashboard notification saying I’ve made my first sale but it’s not showing up in orders. It is showing up in my income generated too. Then I had a spam email saying I’d received a sale but I had to enter my bank card details to receive the money?? Is this legit?
SCAM
Do not give them your financial info
You do not need to "accept" or "approve" a sale
You do not need a particular amount of money in a specified bank account
You do not need to give them your email
When you get a legit sale:
It will show in the Orders section of your Dashboard
It will show as a sale on your Shopfront
You will get an email from transactions @etsy.com
The money will be in your Payment Account

As said above, this is a scam. They commonly target new shops because they assume people won't understand how things work around here. Well done to you for being on the ball!

Just an FYI, @PrettyProtectedAU , resin knuckles are banned weapons on Etsy, as are items for "protection" or self defense.
