First Sale- vacation mod - ID verification

After my first sale, my store was put into vacation mode. I have uploaded the necessary documents, which are supposed to be reviewed within 2-5 business days, but they haven't been reviewed yet. For those who have experienced this, how long did the approval process take? What should I be careful about when uploading documents?

How long ago did you send the documents?  The 3-5 business days don't include this past weekend and also doesn't include Monday which was a US holiday.   The verification could take more than the quoted 3-5 business days though.

Etsy a mis ma boutique en mode vacances après ma première vente, j'étais désespéré. Le bon côté c'est qu'après avoir envoyé les documents, la boutique était de retour le lendemain.( C'était l'année dernière, peut-être que les délais sont plus longs aujourd'hui )  vous avez envoyé le colis... c'est le plus important.

Hi, I experienced this last week after my first sale. Waited 2 days and contacted support through Etsy-clicked until I got to formular. I wrote down what is the issue, order number and they solved it. I shipped the order, input tracking and Etsy still didn’t recognized it as delivered. Wrote for another issue, this time through chat-tracking and order number and solved again in a day. Contact them and provide order nr, shop name and issue. And congrats on first sale!

Your shop's location is shown as Florida, USA. Note that this indicates where you physically are located. (If you do POD the listings' details indicate where the item is shipped from.) Normally USA shops have to get everything set up at the time they are opening the shop.

For some shops outside the USA, providing all the necessary information can be delayed until after the shop's first sale.
Upon the first sale Etsy will place the shop in vacation mode until all the necessary information is received.

So do be sure everything is correctly displayed in your shop & then yes, you will need to be patient while Etsy checks all the information.
