Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. On the right-hand side, normally with listings, whether they're my own or anyone's listings, I can see "Learn more about this item". Unfortunately, when I'm working on Firefox on my Mac, whether it's a laptop or a desktop, there is no option to learn more about this item. It's really strange, right under "Add to Collection". "Item Details" it is empty space.
My concern of course his customers, they're going to have the same problem I'm having most likely. They're gonna be totally confused and wonder why they can't get more information and probably not want to buy something that doesn't really share any information about the item details.
Thanks!
This is a test. People in the test see the description and shipping information on the LEFT, under the picture, but you have to click on a down arrow to see it.
Edited to add: I am in the test and this is the way I am seeing the item details and shipping info on all items.
Do you mean its missing altogether, or just that its moved to the left side, under the photos, with places to click to get to the info and shipping (as all the other threads are mentioning)? I'm on a Mac using Chrome, and every shop I look at has it this way, including yours and mine.
@SueZipkinShop: "I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem." There are many many threads in this forum about this including https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Listing-Descriptions-Missing/m-p/144131065#M819122
Etsy runs tests against viewing accounts (and sometimes refines them by browser, etc) so what you see may not be what others see. We are not currently in the test group so your listings look "normal" to us.
Thank you, but what I'm saying is I'm seeing it on everyone's listing on firefox. It sounds like there's a test going on?
I'm using Firefox on a Mac desktop. I checked some of your listings and I see the item description, and all info is visible. So, fear not! Some, perhaps many, people are able to see your descriptions, crossing fingers! Nice shop too, btw!
Thank you for answering, the problem isn't just my listings. It's everyone's listings on my Firefox browser on both of my computers that are Mac.
@SueZipkinShop: "I'm saying is I'm seeing it on everyone's listing" That us because your (viewing) account is in the test. Not every account is in the test.
@SueZipkinShop I am using Chrome and Windows on a desktop. I can see your descriptions just fine, so probably no worries.
Thank you, the problem is everybody's listing not just mine. No matter what I look at on Firefox. It's missing this information. It's really strange.

I'm a little bit confused so you're saying that you are seeing this new way? I wonder how many customers I have lost who've come and saw this new, set up and couldn't find where to find the information. I couldn't find it for the life of me. I spent hours looking for it. I'm also dyslexic, but I'm used to seeing things a certain way and this didn't make any sense until I read your comment Thanks

I am sorry about that. I accidentally clicked the wrong button. I was responding to the person above. Anyway, yes, I finally see it now it is ridiculously placed at the bottom of the left nowhere near where it was before. I don't understand how anyone who normally shops and see something like that will feel confident until I came here. I couldn't find it. I spent hours looking for, it was perfectly fine on my other browser so I was completely baffled and I thought it was a browser issue.
Thank you, I am dyslexic, and until you explained it clearly I couldn't find it anywhere. I kept looking and looking. What a waste of hours of time stressing out over this ridiculous problem. Why in the world don't they tell us when they do something like that. I'm sure a lot of people did not purchase things because of this.
They're too busy coming up with topics like making sure the buyer has an unforgettable unboxing experience.
Important business topics that might effect sellers and their businesses? That makes too much sense.
I'm continually checking announcements for these unannounced changes and I rarely find anything. Why in the world don't they tell us, indeed.
@SueZipkinShop Don't feel bad--you're not the only one. I refreshed the page a bunch of times, the first time I saw it this way, and just found where they were by accident. Its ridiculous, especially at this time of year.
