Seriously, my 100% Message Response Rate dropped from 100% to 86% because of JUST ONE (1) convo that was UNSOLICITED and that was 8/24/2022! Since then my 24hr or less Message response rate was immediate on 8/31, 9/2, 9/13, 9/15, 10/9. HOWEVER, now it's OCTOBER 23RD and my percentage is still the SAME LOW 86%. IT NEVER RAISED AT ALL! FIX IT ETSY TECHNICAL SUPPORT. You can see everything and it needs to be corrected! How dumb is this calculated percentage if it drops too low with only 1 missed convo and it doesn't go up with multiple fast responses! Who else has this problem?
It is on a 3 month roll over you may be getting more answered messages but older answered messages also drop off every month. Did you try putting that message in your spam folder? As far as Etsy is concerned it is working as stated. You have to answer or spam messages within 24 hours.
You have only few options - answer the message in 24 hours or put it in a spam folder .
Put it in a spam folder and your score will be restored in few days
There is no problem,
there is nothing to fix
every message you need to reply to is highlighted in blue,
if it is a spam message, mark it as spam
for 1st Nov, that message will dropout of the calculations, as etsy looks at the previous 3 months
Hello, and welcome to the Etsy Community Forums!
We suggest using the Forums' Search function prior to posting (just be careful to not bump an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in the last months/years), as questions regarding the Star Seller Program have been extensively covered by our fellow members since its launch, as well as our official Star Seller Guide, which contains in-depth answers to some of the more common questions regarding Message Response Rate, Shipping, Local Pick-Up, Digital Orders, and other topics. You can check it out here:etsy.com/starseller.
Having said that, and since this thread does not pertain to a technical issue, it will be closed to prevent it from going off-topic.
Thank you!
