Has anyone been able to get this feature back on their store?
Let me give a little background.
Someone attempted to hack my account 2 times. And I got a little paranoid and started looking over my account.
The first thing I noticed, was that my payments somehow changed to RUPAY with my US account. I checked and realized that is supposed to be for a store in India. That made me concerned.
So I immediately started deleting and changing things and opted out of teams and things that I was not using.
I received an early invitation to the Explore feature. So since they had made the feature for all Etsy sellers that were US and English-speaking. I thought deleting the prototype was not a problem. And did not even realize until months later that I had done that.
I deleted videos and was about to update my videos and realized the feature was gone.
The tech team ran me around for months, telling me to delete the app and reinstall it. Then I realized it worked on other stores but not mine.
Then I realized I had opted out of the prototype.
Now they keep telling me that they either don't qualify for it or they will forward this matter for feedback.
It seems as if it would be easy to send me another link to join the prototype.
The problem is I still have a video posted that I cannot remove or update.
I have been dealing with this for 4 months, I have talked to numerous Etsy customer service reps, via chat, email, and phone. Expl
I have the same issue that Explore vanished, but I’ve been trying to get it resolved since last November. I have a Halloween video on my shop from last year I can’t delete. No one from support can help. Super frustrating! I’ve started selling more on other platforms because of this issue.
@VintageDollhouseShop , it is crazy how they keep spinning me in circles. I also gave the app a one-star due to this problem. Then they told me to start another request to investigate.
The customer service representatives are not from the US. And they keep saying more store has to be in the US and in Good Standing. When I say it is in the US and I have been a star seller since the program began. They then told me to reload the app.
It works in other stores, not mine.
The only thing someone has to do is add it back to the store.
I think support does not help on purpose they are not in the county so Etsy doesn't know what is going on or care.
This is the only business where you can not speak to a supervisor.
I want to remove my video too.
At this point I thing they are doing all of this on purpose so the stock price can go down for the buyback. Then make changes when the executives get the stock and then sell it.
No one can be this dumb to let everything go down unless there is another plan.
Were you ever able to solve this? I’ve been trying for years to get explore back. I can’t even add a shop video
