Everywhere Else Price not being applied

I'm a seller in the UK. My "everywhere else" price was not applied to an order to the US just now. I will have to either get the customer to pay the extra for the shipping or cancel the order as I cannot eat the shipping fees which are very high to the US. It looks like a bug in the new Etsy listing form. Does anything ever get fixed around here because I saw another seller complain about this 2 weeks ago?!

Re: Everywhere Else Price not being applied

It's been going on for like, 15 months. No fix yet and probably not coming.

Someone posted in the threads that if you do something like save all your prices at the everywhere else price, then go back in and then update the domestic price, it should stick. I think that was the fix, but don't quote me...

Re: Everywhere Else Price not being applied

I have saved the workaround from an earlier thread.

New items. Set global and domestic both to the global price and publish. Go to your listing dashboard, tick the checkbox of the item. Use editing options and reduce the domestic price by the amount you wish.

Existing items. Any changes whatsoever that you make, text, price or photos, tags etc will screw up the price. Again set both to global price and then repeat as above. It is a faff but it works.

You can check by using another browser or an incognito window and look at your shop setting your location (bottom left) to the relevant country.

@DaysofYoreTreasures

Have you done this and it worked and stayed? I updated some of my pricing using this method and then when one of them sold recently, it went back to the messed up prices...

Re: Everywhere Else Price not being applied

hi

i had the same problem and Etsy were useless at helping.

they did tell me to try turning global prices off and on again. i worked out it works if you

turn global pricing off

publish changes

switch global pricing back on

fix prices

publish changes again

you have to do this for every item which takes time but it seems to fix it

good luck everyone

its also interesting that someone mentioned that if you edit a post at all it screws it up again, so you might have to go through it all again every time you make an edit.

ETSY ARE USELESS! lol

Re: Everywhere Else Price not being applied

Problems setting the global price, now its showing the global price on my listings locally, so if puts off any potential sale to a local buyer. I expect better from Etsy considering the amount they take in sellers fees !!
