Etsy wrongly interpreting delivery attempt as actual delivery

I'm a long time seller but I don't often buy on Etsy. I did recently though and it gave me the opportunity to pinpoint one of the many on-going problems with how Etsy reads tracking info.

I ordered from a Greek shop (I'm in Switzerland), which promptly dispatched the item via Hellenic Post, with tracking and signature required. Today I was wondering why I hadn't heard about the package so I went to my order to check the tracking. To my great surprise, it was marked as delivered on Monday, 14th, 4 days ago. I obviously didn't have it but I did get a notification of attempted delivery on Monday. I hadn't yet had time to go to the PO to pick it up so I did that today.

I asked the Swisspost PO lady why the item was marked as delivered when I hadn't picked it up, which isn't possible since it was a signature package. She showed me that in Swisspost's tracking system, it wasn't marked as delivered until this morning, when I signed for it. This means that it's Etsy who chose to interpret the Delivery Attempt as an actual delivery. All other sellers will understand why this is a really bad idea, especially on a signature package. Can this bug be looked into? Thanks.
