I just tried the search on Etsy.com and it worked fine in a Google Chrome page
is not working for me Invalid response from the server i wanted to post screenshot for you i can't see the attached file link here
www.etsy.com says Invalid response from the server
I have the same issues.. It's so crazy
Etsy on Chrome is working fine for me. It sounds like it could be an issue with your ISP or with Everbee. Maybe you should ask them (Everbee), since that's the extension you're trying to use. You can use an extension with any browser, it doesn't have to be Chrome (unless Everbee specifies that, but I know nothing about that subscription service).
"Invalid response from the server" sounds more like an issue with the extension rather than with Chrome itself.
I've disabled my extensions and am still having this issue. So I'm not sure- so frustrating!
Oh wait, nevermind, I still had Sale Samurai on, so I disabled it. Etsy works again!
This is happening to me too!! I still don't know how to fix it. It was working fine until a few days ago. Idk what to do
@Iyaashop @LaPetiteCrochetStore I'm sorry this is happening to you. I've been using the same desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10. And not having any trouble.
Once in a while I will get a Message Popup (I think it was the same as your, "Invalid Response from Server" or something about the Connection; can't remember, it's been a while). When it happens I've thought the IP Provider was doing something with the lines. But normally I don't have a problem.
Could you try another browser?
@Iyaashop @LaPetiteCrocheterie
Try disabling the extension, restart the browser and then try using the website again to do a basic search or whatever. If it works with Everbee disabled then you will know it is the extension that is causing the problem in which case I suggest seeing if they have a support contact or forum to report issues.
I was also having this same issue and this worked. Unfortunately this means I can't use Sale Samurai but I didn't prefer that UI anyway. Thank you!
@Iyaashop "i wanted to post screenshot for you i can't see the attached file link here"
You can not post photos here in the forum ... if that is what you are trying to do, that is probably why you are getting an error.
I was having the same trouble, with an 'Invalid response from the server' error that kept me from searching on Etsy. I used your advice regarding extensions and dismantled my Sale Samurai account that I had canceled but it was still attached to my Etsy shop. Now the Etsy search works fine. Thank you so much for the advice regarding extensions!
@PenmagicBoutique Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! If I could huge you from TN, I would. This was my exact problem and I had not disconnected Sale Samurai from my extensions. It was making me crazy but not anymore!
Thank you!! This worked for me too! I've been so annoyed with it trying to figure out which extension was causing it!
Thanks!
This was happening to me recently, I removed chrome extensions and this solved my problem. Hope this help.
For me it is from a chrome extension. I was using SalesSamurai extension and I discontinued the membership, so I am assuming they just freeze your Etsy search abilities once you do that. Once I removed the extension Etsy works fine. If you want to leave the extension for whatever reason, Etsy did still work fine using Edge in the meantime.
I had the same problem. I fixed it by hovering over each extension in the top of the browser, until a popup appeared, saying whether or not it accessed the Etsy page. For every popup that said it did, I switched that extension off and tried to type in the Etsy search bar until I was able to. It turned out to be the "Products by Spreadshirt" extension for me. I just left it off for now. Im assuming it may need updating.
Hope this helps
yep, so I disabled all my extensions from Etsy and it works fine now. Not sure which one it was- Sale Samurai?
