Hi everyone!
It may seem fatous to ask such silly question, but a day ago i got messages from "Etsy staff" saying i need to verify my shop via bank card. I clicked the link and proceeded to give my datas, but asked for my bank balance, and it is always not enough even though now my bank balace surpasses the required amount. I have done it countless times, but no achievment. Im worried my shop will be suspended, as they say so.
What can/should I do?
Thanks in advance!!

IT'S A SCAM!!! If you have given them banking information, call your Bank immediately.
OMG I took their bait. I almost lost my money. They try to charge USD in a bigger amount and my bank declined it. lol
It's a scam! It's not Etsy asking you, it's a clever scammer impersonating Etsy. If you gave them your card/bank details, contact your bank now and cancel your card and ask the bank to reverse any payment.
Read the forums - these scammers are targeting new sellers. You will never be asked for your email or bank details by Etsy as they already have them.
I had had this happen with me but I clicked out when it tried to verify. Ive frozen my card. Should that do the trick or should i contact my bank?
@KnitsandBobsIreland7 This is an old post. To answer your question, If they got your bank account info or credit card infor, alert your bank, Don't take any chances.
SCAM!!! Real messages from etsy will be in the "from etsy" section of your inbox.
They already have your financial info, which you set up when you opened shop. They already have your email. You don't need to maintain a balance to have a shop.
Read through the forums and familiarize yourself with common scams so you don't fall prey to them again
Thank you all, for the quick response, i have read some similar stories before writing this post, but i wanted to make sure its not me being just dumb
