Can anyone tell me why I just received a ETSY up forum badge for 2022 last week? has anyone else got it? Maybe it is supposed to be incentive to attend them.
I says "Registered for Etsy Up 2022 " when I click on it in your profiles. It doesn't sound like one had to actually attend to get the badge but just sign up.
And what good is a stupid badge like that? Customers probably don't even know what that is, so why would they care? It won't help you convert sales, I dont think. Probably some afterthought somebody at Etsy came up with so they could say, Look what we did for sellers.
Ignore it. It's very much like receiving a little paper star when we were kids for showing up to class which was required. It's a bit silly and somewhat insulting to be receiving these things as adults. Assigned forum titles or badges have no relevance.
It appears anyone who signed up for this event receives this "special" badge. They did not have to attend.
