Etsy trust and safety not responding more then 2 WEEKS IS THIS NORMAL?

Hi guys,

Can someone tell me how this is possible to ignore your clients ? I mean we been selling on etsy almost 10 years. 

The problem started that Etsy trust and safety removed a listing (there mistake)  few months later the same problem with this listing (also there mistake) we have proven send pictures and videos that we are making blankets that this is a handmade product etc.. And then there still removed listing and our star seller badges because we violated there policies. They admitted that it was there fault , i have contacted them about  listing and badges it and now is 15 days past and did not received any answer . Is there a phone number so I can call them or talk to them directly because live chat always says same thing that we forwarded your concerns to the specialist and still no response...

Etsy does not have a phone number; do not try any you find on Google because those are scams.

Unfortunately yes,  Some sellers has said it took a month.  And if it was chat that admitted it was wrong, I would take that with a grain of salt.  Live chat really does not have the ability to determine whether or not the removal was correct or not.

Two things that come to mind.  Were the photos of the items stolen?  If so you need to pursue takedown notices on those sites.  That is one of the reasons for removal.  The other is were the items possibly a baby blanket or other baby item? For very young children such blankets with loose weave are not allowed in the United States.

Yes unfortunately this is normal Etsy customer service. 

I’m in the same boat as you by the way with mistaken violations, and can’t get any response.

it means a lot. I am frustrated and its hard 

its hard because etsy are trying to push (sellers)to be the  best in communication, production in everything  with our clients ranking us with star sellers badges and everything but they don't play by the same rules with us

@woolexperts You nailed it! If only Etsy felt it was important for them to abide by the same standards they impose on sellers. 

I've had this shop for ... I think it's going on a million years by now (LOL!). Back in the early years I could email Etsy Support (REAL emails, not thru the web site) and get a reply the same day, and often within just an hour or two!
