Etsy transactions is missing

Hello, yesterday and early this morning I got two emails from Paypal that I received money from two Etsy transactions. However, the transactions were not confirmed by Etsy, nor did the payments show up on my paypal account. Please what is the problem. This is happening for the first time. I have only Paypal as payment method.

It is either:

a scam using fake paypal emails

or

Etsy found something odd about the transaction and so cancelled the sale and payment

Either way, if you have neither new orders nor money in your account I should not worry about it

It smacks of either a scam or as Marmalady says, Etsy cancelled the orders for payment processing issues, including debit/credit cards for fraudulent use.
