I have been trying to upload mockup photos to my listing for 2 days. Etsy just spins and spins. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I can upload, download, do everything i need to do on this laptop. It's not the internet connection, because I work 8 hrs a day from home on my work laptop. I have cleared cookies, deleted temp files, defraged and updated. I am stumped as to what the problem is. I had no issues about 3 days ago.

Try a different server. It is what worked for me.
I will try that.
Maybe your files are too big? I can make my images 2,000 x 2,000 pixels and they upload fine. If they are 3,000 pixels, I often get the spinning circle. When you are doing mockups with multiple layers, the image file size can get large pretty fast.
My images are 2048x2048.
Did you check the size? Are your photos set for viewing online? If the file is too big it won't load? Best for viewing is about 1.4 MB or thereabouts. Any larger and photos won't list.
They are 2048x2048. I've checked that.
Try turning it off and on again?
Seriously. Sometimes my computer won't upload photos to Etsy, and the images just sit and spin. I turn off the internet connection, then back on again. That usually works. If it doesn't, I power down my laptop completely and restart it. That ALWAYS works.
I've tried all of that to no avail. I'll try again tomorrow.
Thanks!
Nope they are 2048x2048.
A few weeks ago I encountered this like you over a few days - I was listing via my mac laptop and I would get the spinning and the "your photos are too big"...but when I tried uploading the photos via my iPhone to Etsy I had no problems. It did resolve - now it's fine - go figure!
I didn't really want to go to my Iphone because I can't see that well lol. I will try that though. Thanks!
I did that twice last night. No luck. I think I'm going to hold off until tomorrow and see if it's something 'in the air'.
It ended up being a problem with the tower that went on for 2 weeks. It probably cost me $$ since I couldn't upload and photos so I wasn't able to post any listings. I could have had well over 300 listings in that time.
Hi I saw your note about uploading mockups to use. I'm still trying to figure how to upload them. Can you please tell me?
Listing Image Requirements - Our House Rules | Etsy
The photos need to be of the actual item. "If an item is created with production assistance, the listing’s photos should be of the finished product or an image supplied by the production partner that accurately depicts the item the buyer will be receiving. "
If you are making the item the photo has to be of the item you have made for sale. It cannot be a mockup.
If you are using a production partner, the photo has to be of the item you have made sure is an accurate representation.
Mock ups are allowed for digital as long as they are accurate.
If you have a production partner, they need to be listed.
Your about page contains that information.
Phot listings need to be certain size.

I'm having this problem as well. It's only one out of 5 photos that keeps spinning. I've uploaded about 8 listings today already with no issue, it must be a glitch on Etsy's end, as everything else is functional.
