Etsy removed one of my products, which I personally designed and made, with photos I took myself, and which has been on sale for about 4 years as a bestseller, claiming it violates Etsy's Creativity Policy. I can't get a response from anywhere.
I have shared numerous photos and videos from my production area, my personal technician certificate, and much more. However, Etsy deactivated my best-selling product, which is the main source of income for my business. I created several support requests, but they were closed without a response.
I have trusted Etsy for years and have been selling without violating any policies. However, I am now facing such a critical issue without even being able to get a reply. Please help me.

If your photos have been stolen and used elsewhere, you have to issue dcma takedowns to the other sites
if you use things like mockups as a first photo, that is also against the standards
....
if you open a second support request, the first is closed, and the new one goes to the bottom of the queue
In the past, there were people who photoshopped and used my products, but as far as I’ve seen, Etsy removed those listings. Also, there’s no mockup situation in my photos. I’m wondering, could it be that Etsy employees are on a holiday break for Christmas, and that’s why I’m not getting a response?
I did some research and found that someone is selling this product using my photos. Additionally, they’ve used the same photos on other websites to promote their own. I’m not sure if I should take new photos and copyright them, or protect the current ones and issue a warning. It’s really upsetting to see a product I’ve worked so hard to design and create end up like this.
I would issue takedowns, and use that info in an appeal to etsy, to get your items re-instated, as you don't want the black mark against you.
you can't just relist the ones taken down, only etsy should do that
Once they are re-instated, you may want to put in a new 1st photo - you want to keep the history of the listing, not create a new one
.... etsy also has new photo standards, square, or max 4:3 landscape, not portrait,
and min side 2000 pixels, for the first photo, so it may be worth doing new ones for that item anyway
I’ve registered my own brand and logo as a trademark. Would adding them as a watermark be a solution? Also, thank you so much for the information you’ve provided so far
it might help, but there is a lot of software nowadays that can remove watermarks
@WoodnotionEQ This is common. Read Craftycornish's response to your post.
thank you
link to your other thread, which Etsy closed. In case you lost the link.
@WoodnotionEQ Was it the echelon wood listing? It's common not to receive a reply. But if a human reviews and approves it the listing would be reactivated without a notice to you. Looking at your other handmade products, it would seem a bot mistakenly took the listing down. However, I am not sure whether making a claim about your lights' beauty and studies on well-being, behavior, mood etc. is a good idea, and am wondering if that could have something to do with it even though your email received is under the "creativity" policy and not the "medical claims" policy. Did the bot get confused? I don't know.
Honestly, that’s an interesting perspective. I didn’t intend to make a medical claim, but I wanted to reference other studies. The email I received only mentioned a violation of Etsy’s Creativity Policy. And now, after doing some research, I’ve discovered that there are many people using my photos.
