Hello
Etsy removed my listings for creativity policy violation. I am trained as a designer and I am selling on Etsy since 2017.
Today Etsy removed my fourth listing in a process of auto renew because I got an order on it. I am selling this design since 2018 and it has got multiple positive reviews. As suggested in the forum I did reverse image check. One travel blogger has used my image with the back link to my Etsy shop. Apart from this blog I could not find my photos on other ecommerce websites.
On 10th September Etsy removed my design third time as I was renewing it. I tried contacting Etsy via live chat and by sending an email. But received no help. All they offer is a standard reply with links to guidelines about what can be sold on Etsy. As advised here in the forum, I did reverse image search. I found out that my designs are stolen and are available on Amazon. I have created this design in 2021 and the stolen copy on Amazon is available from 2022. I have filed a DMCA report and sent the it to Etsy. But still there is no reply from Etsy.
First time my listing got deactivated in February and the second one in July. Both the times I tried reaching to Etsy with the proof that the design belongs to me. But no resolution was provided. My star seller badge was removed after 2nd deactivation.
I need help to deal with this situation. Because I came across multiple designs which are stolen from my shop and are now available on amazon. That means Etsy bots can poetically flag more listings. This is so frustrating. I have started filing DMCA reports. I am too scared to renew or add new listings. I have touched my shop in past 6 days due to this fear of listing deactivation. But this way my shop will die soon.
I started selling on Etsy because it was clean, honest and genuine platform for creative work. After giving more than 6+ years to my shop I don’t know is it worth putting efforts.
I hope the trust and safety team looks into fixing this.
Thank you.
