We have late shipping defects for not shipping orders on 18th April. This was a bank holiday in the UK. Can anyone please advise how we get these defects removed please?
All you can do is account for future bank / postal holidays in your country by extending your shipping date. Etsy is a worldwide platform, and doesn't seem capable of accounting for all the different holidays in each country when it comes to shipping. It's always been this way. Sorry.

If etsy tried to account for every bank, holiday, holy day and other special days everywhere in the world, no days would be a shipping day. You need to account for your own non shipping days by extending your ship days. Etsy doesn't account for non-shipping days in the US either.
Thank you for your replies, I had no idea. Other online platforms seem to cope quite well with this! I will extend the days for bank holidays.
Other platforms are limited to certain areas. Amazon is located in the US but also has Amazon UK, Amazon Australia and a few others for example. They are separate so it's easier to account for holidays. On Etsy not so as Etsy is one global site,
Oh noes I thought Etsy would have adjusted to the bank holidays, rookie error. I fell off starseller for this month as it is and now two things sold this week will be down as dispatched late
Not really. None of their stuff is Etsy legal so they shouldn't be selling here anyway!
