Etsy miscalculating delivery times

I know this has been going on for a while with no resolution (not even sure if Etsy deem it a bug or a feature at this point) but just wanted to add: Royal Mail offer both a Standard untracked and a Tracked service for international post. They do not claim the Tracked service is expedited, only that it offers tracking. Both options take an estimated 6-7 days in transit to the USA according to RM.

Purchased a label for a USA order this morning (the 7th) via Etsy labels.

Standard delivery: May arrive late - estimated delivery 13-28th.

Tracked: should arrive on time - estimated delivery 10-15th.

Yes I’m having this issue too. Also adding that I’m shipping at least a week before my ship by date and if I select standard international shipping with the Royal Mail, which would be the same shipping my buyer selected, it tells me it will arrive later than buyer is expecting? How? Make it make sense Etsy.

It's all just nonsense really so I ignore it.  The item will get there when it gets there.  Transit time to US is typically 5-7 business days.  I find that International Standard gets there quickly and often before tracked & signed because the item requires less handling.
