I take great pride in my customer service. I have never been late with my shipping. It is insulting that Etsy marked me down like this, and then hide behind their horrendous customer service by not having a direct way to contact them about this. Seems a bit cowardly to me.
Are you using Etsy labels?
for custom digital downloads, you have to mark them as complete
For labels bought elsewhere, you have to mark as complete
If you buy labels from etsy, make sure you have the right date, when you buy
@deseta: Are you basing this on the applicable CSV file available on your Star Seller page to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it? In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
I've been on this platform for awhile, and never had any issues with the other 460 orders I've shipped!
Hi, I got to the bottom of this! It was my fault.
You won't receive an alert because there is no way for Etsy to know.
You must have been within the 3 days as that is what we are allowed to change tracking numbers.
Otherwise such is not fixed for star seller by Etsy.
If you purchase Etsy labels you would not have the issue of adding in the tracking number.
@deseta: Long before Star Seller was even thought of, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes daily checking the previous day's shipments to make sure that they were at least "in transit" so if something was wrong we could fix it within the 72 hour window we are allotted.
I see you don't have any of the badges (message response or "rave reviews") on your shop home page, which usually means you didn't meet the $300 in sales (minimum of 5 orders) for the 3-month reporting period.
Did you meet that requirement?
Yes, I'm just a few bucks shy of the $300 min in sales. Everything else (aside from that bad shipping mark) has been met. Hopefully I'll get there in a few days!
@deseta: "Hopefully I'll get there in a few days!" Keep in mind that Star Seller badges are only calculated and awarded on the first of the month (UTC not your time zone) using data from the previous three month period.
How are you shipping? You shouldn't have to be manually adding your tracking information if you're buying labels online.
What a beautiful shop!
Also, I noticed the shipping charge is $10 for one sheet of stickers within your state. (Just in case that's not what you intended to charge.)
Thank you!! I opened my shop a billion years ago mostly as a hobby, put have dedicated my full-time focus to it the last 2 years so I really appreciate it!
My shipping is a MESS and I need to work that out next year. Since I have such a range of products in different sizes and weights, the only solution is for me to ship at the post office to get exact shipping price. (I always get the receipt emailed to me so that I can copy and paste the tracking, but the systems happened to be down at the usps yesterday which meant I had to enter tracking manually).
Yes - 10 for shipping a sticker sheet, because that is what I shipped yesterday and only charged $4.50 for the shipping (that was what a single card used to cost me). But yesterday, I paid $10.20 for shipping just that one sheet!!! So I had no choice but to up the shipping prices.
@deseta Something is definitely wrong with your shipping prices.
You have $7 to ship a tote bag but $10.00 to ship a single card.
Thank you for taking the time to check my situation out!!
