Etsy emails not coming through

I've been using Etsy since 2008 and have always had the exact same email set up. I used to receive email notifications every time I made a sale or received a message. I am now only receiving about 50% of these emails. This is clearly not an issue with my email address (yes I have checked my spam folder) as some emails come through fine, but many do not and I continue to miss important messages from customers. This has been going on for over 6 months. As Etsy have no help centre whatsoever - no email address, call centre or even chat system, I am at the end of my tether with how to resolve the situation! I have two Etsy accounts and have the same issue with both of them. Anyone got any ideas??

Just guessing (Shop on Vacation. On Etsy since 2011). I've received quite a few emails fr. Etsy re: Sign In/Out:  "Did you mean to..." (I always use the same desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10.  Under "Security" in Settings, my Sign Ins/Outs are always the same).  
I've recently been on Auto-Reply for Messages (fam. emergency, personal).  Prior to this, I would receive Messages from a couple Sellers on my Team as well as an Admin  (I did receive the Messages in my Email as well).

I have seen recent Threads of those saying the same as you (not getting emails fr. Etsy, even when receiving Orders).  Sorry, don't know why.  
Some suggestions (in case you haven't done them):  - If using the app (which I never have), I've heard it can be glitchy.  You can Un-install and Re-install it), or go to a browser (but make sure it is always updated).    - Unplug and plug back in your modem   - Check you don't have extra extensions (I don't have any, but weird things have been happening nevertheless).  - Don't rely on those Message (for Orders, etc.); always Sign In to Etsy.    And yes, there have been many glitches for a while now.

@BangBangCrash @ChillwolfArt  Hello, I have the same problem since March... I joined Etsy Help center : they send me adresses to put in my list of contacts. Well... the problem still goes on. And no, this is not a problem with my mail box, I've checked everything. I'm in France, I'm on Etsy since 2012, and it's the first time that I have these kind of problem. There were Threads with this problem.. How many sellers do not receive every Etsy's mail ? Are they numerous ?

Email servers lose emails all the time.  Things get backed up and emails just disappear.  Sometimes servers don't work well together.

Free email is hit hardest because there servers can be swamped.

There can be minute changes between teh email provider and Etsy's email service that is not compatible.

Also make sure email provider did not change protocol.

The best thing to do is come into the site at least once a day and not use email as the primary resource.  I don't use email as the primary source.  I use it only as back up.   It's always best to visit Etsy especially since ETsy often posts their information in the dashboard as well as through email.

I've been having this problem on and off for a few years now, but only for this shop. I get my order emails, but not policy updates, this week in your shop, Etsy Success, or any buyer-directed emails. In desperation, I finally took Etsy's recommendation & changed it to a paid email (my domain email) and guess what? Nothing has changed. Meanwhile, my closed shop gets all of these emails ... and those all get forwarded just fine to the original email address I used for this shop!

The problem is clearly 100% on Etsy.

Agreed. and they are doing nothing to help. Very frustrating. 

They've been telling me it's outlook or godaddy. GoDaddy has done everything they could. THey even checked their server and found no emails from etsy coming through. I told etsy about this and again. nothing has been done.

I even changed to google workspace as i thought outlook was the issue. Nope, clearly it's etsy. Still not getting notifications.

I have just copied into this note from ETSY: four email addresses that have to be in the address book in your email program (Microsoft Outlook)

...I had a similar problem a few years ago and these had to be added specifically.   This may or may not be of help.  It worked for me.

Here's the steps:

Go to WebMail Inbox window.

Click Preferences.

Under General Email Preferences, click Blocked Senders. Type in the sender or domain you wish to allow in the Exceptions List.

Click Add, then Save.

@StudioCLD  I've been selling here for almost 14 years & covered all that stuff years ago. 

When the problem is Etsy, filters ain't gonna help.

I've been having the same issue. Etsy sent me an email with this list, I added them to my list of saved/safe emails and it still doesnt work. So frustrating

@shopdoodlesink I changed my Etsy email address from a free one that I have used for 24 years to my paid domain email, and still the exact same Etsy emails are not getting through to me.

Etsy has to stop blaming others for its own technical incompetence.
