Etsy duplicated my chat and now says that i didn't reply in time and i am losing star seller

I replied within minutes to a message ( as i always do ) and even had a few messages with the buyer. A day or so later Etsy sent me the same message to which i replied straight away which a copy of my original reply. so at this point i think nothing is wrong but maybe it duplicated teh request? 

I now find out it has cost me my star seller and i urgently need this resolved

Try going back and mark the duplicates as spam.

Oh, man, I am so embarrassed.  I never reply to these infringers and counterfeiters.

The one time I didn't look at a shop first and I get caught out trying to help them.

I know you did not ask for a store review, but I don't think star seller is going to be an issue if you keep on using trademarked names to sell your items or do you not need a licence to sell names as 'mandalorian', 'the joker', 'chucky', etc.?

Etsy is well known for stripping ALL the purple stars, and or shutting down shops for repeat offences.

@MiniFigzFramed: Not likely that Etsy duplicated the message but more probably the customer sent you multiple new threads. You should look at the CSV file from your Star Seller page to confirm which messages are counting against you.

But as mentioned, more problematic is the fact that you do not list the licenses in your listings which allow you use the various trademarked and copyrighted names and images. Not listing them makes you look like a counterfeiter to buyers (and Etsy). Without that disclosure someone could buy your item, and then open a claim that they received a counterfeit and Etsy will refund them and allow them to keep the merchandise.

Star Seller is the least of your worries.  There doesn't seem to be a single listing in your shop that isn't a blatant rip off of someone else's IP, and many of them from seriously litigious IP owners.  Honestly, Star Seller is the least of your worries.  You really need a new business plan, this one is not a long term plan, and now that you have put yourself on the radar publicly by posting here, it is only a matter of time before the IP owners find you and put you out of business for good.  Hope you have deep pockets, you will need them.
