My shop is a year old today and I just uploaded a banner to announce a sale and then went to create a sale and realized some of the items were not showing in my shop. I then found out that etsy deactiated a bunch of listings including canva templates for organizing ai prompts. I made these myself. In fact I was the very first person to notice the gap in the market last Black Friday (there was literally no one selling these) and I made some canva templates for those who usually create art with ai, so they can organize their prompts or use the prompt template to sell their prompts.
Those have been the main sellers in my shop and lots of people have copied my idea since then so much so that I dont show at top of search anymore (but I digress). I searched Etsy and there are still other canva templates for prompt guides. That's not fair to me. These are handmade templates that took me several hours to design. Now I am being removed from search while others who started making these after me are being shown in search. Based on Etsy policies, there is no reason to remove them. I made these templates from scratch and it took me a while to get them right.
How do I appeal these removals?
Etsy also removed a bunch of ai art prompt guides I am selling as well. I made those too- they are guides that have art prompts that I experimented with several times to get a certain type of result.
Does anyone know how I can appeal it? Thanks

Ok, thanks. That sucks. So it looks like we can sell the images we make using our prompts but we can no longer sell the prompts we crafted? Good to know.
Ai prompts can no longer be sold on Etsy, as per the Etsy Creativity Standards.
Thanks. I saw the video but someone just shared the link to new rules where they said ai prompt bundles are no longer considered designed by seller. Hopefully I can get someone to reinstate my canva templates. I should still be able to sell those even to people who just want to organize their prompts or even sell their prompts on another platform.
I expect the bots are just picking up on the words 'AI' and 'prompt' in your listings and bam! If your listings contain prompt suggestions then they cannot be sold on Etsy from today. If your listings do not contain actual prompts then you will have to argue it out with support.
Thanks. I've now seen the link someone else shared with the new rules. Per the templates, they really should not have removed those, but I get that the bot may have done that based on keywords. The templates are just for people to copy paste their own prompts and put their image so they can track and organize their prompts or sell their completed guides if they choose to do so. I will reach out to support.
So I reached out to Etsy support and got a canned response likely from a bot that does not address why they removed Canva templates that are not violating their guidelines. This is frustrating.
Did the images use any of the Canva logos? Review Canva policy. "Canva's trademarks cannot be used unless expressively authorized by Canva in writing ..."
From what I understand, you can sell the prompts if you include the results of those prompts (aka, the designs).
