Etsy chat bubble not resetting?

First, I'll say I love the etsy chat bubble on my dashboard. It's really convenient when I need help - it responds instantly with a chat bot to give general help and I can usually get to a human within a minute if the bot can't help. The humans working the chat support are always nice and do whatever they can to help and literally - THEY ALWAYS HELP no matter what they issue!!  After the chat, it will close and I'll get a survey or something along those lines, and it'll reset so I can use it again.

Today I didn't have that experience - the agent didn't seem to understand the issue. I sent screenshots and tried to explain the issue at length, but it didn't seem like they wanted to hear it. Long story short, they rushed me off the chat and sent me the scripted closing text they always send while I was still typing. 

Now, I cannot get the chat to reset. It won't give me chat bot option like it usually does and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue? I've tried different browsers, clearing cache/cookies, etc.. nothing works. Could it be that the chat agent didn't close the connection correctly? Have I been shadowbanned or something for being difficult? I know that sounds silly, but who knows!

So, anyone seen this with their chat bubble? I'll try again tomorrow, maybe it'll reset after a given timeframe

Last time I chatted it took months to reset. I had to use the chat this morning and the chat will not reset. Contacted Etsy numerous times about this issue and they have done nothing to fix it.

Having that problem right now.  I was even given a ticket number to use to contact them if what we were working on wasn't responded to and was supposed to use it next time that I needed to chat.  Today was that day and the chat window never reset after the last use.  Now I don't know what to do.  This is REALLY frustrating.

Yes, we're having the same issue and we can't start a new chat. It's been stuck on the last chat for around 3 weeks!
