Etsy changing our price

Here's an odd one... I've noticed in checking our listings that Etsy is adding 1 cent to the listing prices. We don't run sales so it's not a glitch from Etsy returning a listing to a regular price after a sale.

Very odd. 

And, yes, when we see it, we edit it to normal price. Just wondering what Etsy is up to and if anyone else has seen this glitch which we see on the app as well as desktop.

I see your listing at $65.01, which is indeed weird, and I believe that's the one you're referring to. I don't know why this is happening, or what to suggest, but I hope someone can help. (I double checked mine just in case. Everything appears to be fine, but you still need help).

thanks for seeing it. It's not the end of the world but it's SOOOO weird. I have been checking my shipping on listings and, I guess, while in there, I'll remove that extra penny.

I have often seen odd price changes.  I always use round numbers eg 20€, so when I notice an item at 20.87€ etc, I know it was nothing I did.

? Potential test to game out the 2nd shoe dropping after $6 shipping edict ?  Who knows, the wizard behind the curtain may now be able to tinker with their newest listing form, only changing price it by 1 cent in the hopes that we'll ignore it; I'm glad you didn't!

Thank you for pointing this out, so we all can keep an eye on our shops for weird price changes.  Anyone else notice weird listing changes, be it price or what have you?

I noticed it on listings that I've not worked as well as listing I have worked too. All of them are $65 and under.

It's randomized, I lost count @ over 100 listings in just your jewelry collection.

Do you have any hints as to why these might have been randomly chosen to add 1 cent to?

@bycinbyhand you still have several items that have a 1-cent attached to it ... and I have to wonder if your $5.99 shipping fee is what's actually MAKING the prices change.  It's as if Etsy is doing it on purpose, thus ensuring they get the full $6 shipping fee!  Etsy glitch?  I hope ... but def something to wonder about!!

I noticed that, for example, on your vintage leaf necklace, your shipping is $5.99. Was it originally $6? Maybe Etsy lowered your shipping to keep it under $6 and added the penny to your price to make up the lost shipping $.01?

that's got to be it... I lower the shipping, Etsy adds the difference into the price. How greasy is that?
