Etsy bulk import products/listing

Hey all,

I’m looking to bulk import products/listings on Etsy, but I’m a bit confused about the process. I’ve heard it’s possible to upload multiple items at once, but I’m unsure of the best way to go about it. Do I need to use a specific file format or tool for this?

Also, are there any tips for making the bulk import process smoother, or things I should be aware of to avoid errors during the upload?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've never heard of a bulk upload option on Etsy.

@VintageVirginLondon: Based on your other thread, you have applied for API access. When that is granted, you will have to roll you own bulk import tool using the Etsy API.

I need API access to create bulk product listings, but I've read that the approval process can take a while

@VintageVirginLondon: There have definitely been other reports of long waits for API approval. Unfortunately very few, if any, shops update their posts to indicate that their API application has been approved so it is impossible to gauge how long it is taking.

We applied years ago and our application was approved within a few days but that time frame no longer seems to be true.

I've heard of bulk editing but not bulk listing ... unless of course you build your own tools to use with the Etsy API.
