Two of my new listings have been deactivated by Etsy bots.
1) LED jogging/cycling reflective vest front/back high brightness dual switch elastic band one size for people weighing 35 - 85 kg Inactive
2) Multimineral supplement for isopods and other invertebrates
For those two listings I had to pay to be published. Then they have been deactivated, and after one day of contacting Etsy support they are still on the deactivated mode.
This is highly frustrating and irritating! So no one checked my email at the Etsy support?? This is highly counterproductive!
1.Many never get a reply from Etsy. Their customer service is not great. 2. It says someplace in the terms of use if they remove something they deem prohibited you don't get your money back. You can dispute it if you think it is not prohibited by their rules but know that can take days to weeks to never to be answered.
Etsy asks us to pay to have our listing published and then they deactivate it.... It's like paying with your money to buy a product and then the shop owner instantly taking it away from you, without even telling you why !!
1) doesn’t sound like it’s handmade by you. Nor does it qualify as supply.

LEDs could be the problem, as the little round batteries are choking hazards to babies. Bots are programmed for words, not able to determine if child or adult. If batteries are same, or if even included. Hopefully you get someone to review it, and reinstate it,
@cuttingsNL - This article probably relevant to the led vest listing -

Scroll down to requirements for lithium ion batteries plus there is mention of coin size batteries & the housing they are placed in.
As for the supplement I'm at a loss on that. It may be a prohibited item? Or Etsy may think you are making medical claims of some sort. Note that bots are usually responsible for deactivations & only look for words or phrases. They are not taking any use of those words into context.
It will take a while for Etsy to reply. If all you receive is a generic reply, respond to that email that your issue is not resolved. Opening a new help request will only put you to the end of the line.

Have you checked the applicable laws regarding the food? There might be an item in the food the BOT is catching.
@dippeldiundscribble there are thousands of items for sale on Etsy that are not handmade... thousands LOL
Yes there are, and they’re all lying to their buyers when they label their listing as handmade. So … personally I don’t think it’s LOL at all. Not to mention any one of those ‘handmade’ sellers is open to a claim of NAD.
Etsy will likely respond to your complaint of wrongly deactivated items as quickly as it acts on removing reported reseller listings (not very quickly and sometimes never).
@JMOldeVintage they never replied to my emails regarding support on an issue. It's supplement for isopods for god's shake.
And the other item is an LED vest for jogging. eBay, amazon, etc. sell them each day. Etsy is always the problem.
Etsy follows different rules than sites like ebay, amazon, etc. At least in theory.
"there are thousands of items for sale on Etsy that are not handmade... thousands LOL"
Still doesn't mean they belong here and are at risk for being removed at any moment. At least we can hope they will be.
It's supplement for isopods for god's shake.
it may be meant as a supplement for osopods, but that doesn't mean it can't or won't be taken by humans. One of the most troublesome "drugs of choice" these days is MEANT to be a tranquiliser for horses, for pity's sake.
There are two possible problems here.
1. Your supplements appear to be commercial products ( not handmade, vintage or craft supplies) and as such they are not allowed to be sold here.
2. There is something mentioned in the listings that triggered their removal by the automated filter as a prohibited item.
Either way, and even if neither is the case, you need to wait until an Etsy staffer has time to check the items manually and if they decide they are okay they will reinstate them. It can take up to a week or more, and even if they ARE reinstated, the same thing is likely to happen the next time the listings sell or expire and are renewed, or edited and republished. That is how the automated listing filter works. It checks new and renewing listings as they go live, and the thousands of others you see listed here will eventually renew and get hit as well. It was simply your turn.

@cuttingsNL - Sending multiple emails/help requests on the same issue will not speed up the process. If and when Etsy replies, and if their response to your problem does not resolve the issue, reply to that email, that your issue is not resolved. Again, sending new emails will only put you to the end of the line yet again.
For the led vest, regardless of whether or not they are truly handmade, do read the link I posted. There are additional links in that article. While other marketplaces may feel safe going on the assumption that, say, the battery compartment that is part of the vest meets all the latest safety standards, Etsy may have decided they will not assume. And since we all know what "assume" means.....so from their perspective that is the best course of action.
As for your isopod supplements, I did not read thru any of the ingredients on your other listings. Though honestly that might not shed any more light on issue. Also, none of us know what triggered the bot to deactivate the listing. You will need to contact Etsy on that one too.
