Etsy blocked my messages. No I don't send unsolicited emails...

As the title suggests, Etsy randomly blocked my messaging ability today

When I try to respond to a message I am redirected to a page that says

You have been blocked.

Why? Something about the behaviour of the browser has caught our attention.

There are various possible explanations for this:

•  You are browsing and clicking at a speed much faster than expected of a human being.
•  Something is preventing JavaScript from working on your computer.
•  There is a robot on the same network (IP xxxxxxxxxxxx) as you.

There is no one else on my network lol

Anyone have experience with this? Just tried responding to older messages, and the same thing happens.

Javascript IS running fine, adblockers, etc are all disabled on any Etsy domain/subdomain, no VPN usage, and no one else using the IP currently.

When I look at the code on this page that I was redirected to, confirming that jquery and javascript are running, there is a blurb that says "Is code your craft? https://careers.etsy.com"

This is being caused by googles new "recaptcha v3" causing false positives for geolocation testing.

I'm sorry this has happened to you. This is the first time I've seen anyone on the forum that had this message. Usually it's a "bummer your messages have been temporarily disabled."

I googled the message and it does seem like something that happens on the net itself, not just on Etsy, and dating back years...

Some responses say that they didn't do anything and it fixed itself. I didn't see any threads where they pinpointed what they did to solve the problem..
