My Etsy shop, via the app, is freezing up when I attempt to visit a customer's full profile after they have favorited one my shop items. It freezes up and stops.
Yes I have the same when I look at who liked my items, totally freezes and I have to close the app.
I also am having the same problem.
Thx for responding. It’s freezing up again tonite. And like you, Vanilla, I have to close the app too, to get out. Arggggg
Could someone check into this problem. It is still happening.
Yup, same here. Still freezing up. This is on the "old" sellers app btw. I click on the person who fave'd an item of mine, I can see the last what is it 5 items they liked, page is still fine then. The moment I click on the name at the bottom of the page to see the profile it freezes and I have to exit by force closing the app.
The new app was freezing for me last night. I restarted my phone then it worked.
If you're all having problems switch to using the site through a browser.
I use Chrome but you can use your browser of choice.
Using a browser on a phone is clunky..sort of the whole point of the app.I don't really like the new app..everything is different. One thing I DO like is it is eady to toggle between my shops..no sign out/sign in..just a click. Wish that happened on my PC!
I don't find it clunky at all, I've used it for years to run my shop.
You can choose mobile view or desktop view and have full functionality.
From when the app was first introduced, quite a few years ago it's always had its limitations.
We'll have agree to disagree on this one.
well..different stokes/different opinions. I find running my shop via my phone clunky in general.
Still having a problem with the app freezing up when I look at who favorite the item.
Thanks, everyone. Now my phone app-the latest one-is frozen in the middle of creating a new post. I can't save it. My choices are "discard" or "Keep editing." I am unable to edit as the app froze. So-bad words, bad words-I have to start all over. I don't understand why Etsy would update an app that is not ready to use consistently.
