Hello Etsy team and community
I'm facing a serious technical issue accessing Etsy from India and wanted to check if others are experiencing the same.
Since this morning (June 24, 2025), the Etsy website (www.etsy.com) has stopped working completely for anyone using the Jio network, which is one of the largest internet service providers in India.
Here are the details:
The website does not load at all on Jio — the browser returns a "unable to connect" error.
However, the Etsy Seller App is still working fine, which suggests the backend APIs are unaffected.
I tried accessing Etsy using a different provider (Airtel) and it worked perfectly.
I also tested changing the DNS on my Windows 10 PC to:
Google DNS: 8.8.8.8
Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1
After this, Etsy started loading again — which confirms it's a DNS resolution issue or an ISP-level block.
This seems to be impacting many sellers and buyers on Jio, and it's likely affecting traffic and sales from India.
Questions:
Is Etsy aware of any DNS or regional access issues in India?
Has Etsy changed anything recently (e.g., domain routing, DNS configuration, CDN provider)?
Can Etsy contact or coordinate with ISPs like Jio to get this issue resolved?
Is it safe to continue using DNS workarounds like Google/Cloudflare?
Any help or confirmation from Etsy’s technical team would be greatly appreciated. This is critical as many of us rely on Etsy as our primary selling platform.
Thank you!
Yes, I am facing the Same Problem. Unable to Access Etsy Website on Jio Network. However Airtel worked like a charm. Any help in solving this issue will be much appreciated.
@Earthmines: "Any help or confirmation from Etsy’s technical team would be greatly appreciated." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).
To contact Etsy try https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling or https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_offsite_ads-callback or you can open a support ticket through Dashboard > Community & Help > Contact Us
Yup!!, I'm facing the same issue. Etsy won't open at all on my Jio network, I've tried changing the DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4), restarting the router, and clearing cache, but nothing has worked so far. Everything works fine when I switch to a different ISP or use a VPN, so it definitely seems to be an issue with Jio's DNS. Hope this gets resolved soon.
when it's resolve ???
We are currently contacting the JIO service provider for the same, let see if this helps.

I am facing exactly the same issue, unable to access Etsy websites, forums or any website related to Etsy, even for buying. Not just for the purpose of my seller page. It is a very big problem for me. I have been selling on Etsy since a long time now and regularly update my seller page. Since the past 3 days I have been unable to update or make changes as I have only Jio on Wifi and on my phone.
Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest.
