Etsy Support Chat Unreachable

I have been trying to reach Etsy Support for well over a day. It seems like the chat won't close out and now I can't reach another support agent. I can't request a callback either because I am located in Sweden and apparently Etsy won't call Swedish numbers.

Is there any other way to reach Etsy Support?

I'm having this same issue, I'm in the US. 

The only support contact option I have is to submit an email request, that has a posted timeline of getting a response back in 1-2 days. Today is day 4 without a response. I'm unsure what's going on over there

If the chat isn't working for you try going in with a different internet browser. Chat is frozen for me in Chrome, but it works in Edge. However, the only response I've ever gotten from the chat people is "wait for an email". They are VERY unhelpful. Hopefully this helps!

Also, I've been waiting for 5 days to get a response to my issue. Etsy can't/won't verify for EIN so I sent in a document for it and it's been silence ever since.

I am not sure, but I think Etsy chat is not always available on weekends and holidays. Today is a holiday in the US, so you might need to wait a little longer to get a reply.  Mostly it seems that chat wastes about an hour of time to tell you they cannot solve your problem and will need to forward it to another team.  Usually typing from scripts or a chatbot.  Once I did have a real person who was helpful in answering questions and really seemed to understand Etsy.

No. The chat won't close out and will not open another session. It's a bug. Using another browser won't work either. I did get it to work yesterday by manually typing "chat with an agent" and finally I was connected to someone who sounded like a bot and was completely useless.

Now I'm waiting for an email while Etsy is still "temporarily" holding my funds. It's been quite some time. I have delivered internationally with tracking within days. I'm not doing anything wrong or breaking any policies.

Timeline: signed up for Etsy. Payments disabled for a month while I also paid for ads. No information as to why payments were disabled for a whole month. Was not notified. Instead I blocked customers who were asking if they could pay by PayPal. 

Payments finally opened after I got in touch with Etsy support. Made my first sale immediately. Store put on forced holiday mode for a week after first sale. Apparently they needed documents which I already provided when I signed up.

Now all funds are on temporary hold. No idea when I'll be paid, will not get answers, support is unreachable. Chat won't close out, the link to my support request which Etsy provided doesn't work. (It was supposed to work after the chat closed, according to Etsy.)

Etsy will make call backs to Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, UK, The Netherlands but not Sweden for some reason.

Etsy has been an absolutely horrid experience overall. I'm actually surprised I was recommended by someone to sell on this platform.
