I have been penalized by Etsy seller in the "Ship in time" section.
I always shipped in time but etsy calculated that 2 shipping was missing the tracking...i had a chat with the support center and i demonstrated with a screenshot and the shipment document that the tracking was indeed present but they didn't fixed my account.
I need this to be solved ASAP couse Etsy has clearly a bug.

I assume with over 400 sales, adding tracking to your orders has not changed much?

and the link to the postal website showing the tracking / delivered.

There are only other sellers here, only Etsy can fix this for you.
you have to enter a valid tracking number, and shipper, by the ship by date
if you add a valid tracking number after the ship-by-date, it updates to the date you added the tracking number, so will be late
if you copy-and-paste, and add a leading or trailing blank, etsy doesn't recognise it
if you put a 0 instead of O, it is not recognised
If you don't use a shipper recognised by etsy and aftership, it is not recognised.
@ShamanicMarket - I believe you are in the EU?
As mentioned, the shipper you choose must be trackable with Aftership. And of course everything must be typed in correctly.
However, if you haven't had issues before & are suddenly seeing this problem, you may have been subjected to an Etsy glitch. There have been other EU shops reporting "no tracking" problems.
But what's happening is the glitch mysteriously changes the carrier you have chosen when completing the order. Since the carrier and the format of the tracking number do not agree with the carrier's normal numbers, nothing is recognized & Etsy sees this as no tracking.
Some shop owners use this work-around - When going to complete your order, enter the incorrect carrier, enter the correct tracking number and all the other information, before clicking on the 'complete' button change the carrier to the correct one.
Even using this, many shop owners still go back in a day or so to be sure that everything shown on the order is correct. You have 3 days to edit the information shown on the completed order.
I have also reported this issue, all other orders have been fine I always use La Poste, no other choice, and never been an issue, well apart from when Etsy changes it to Fedex but I have always caught it within the 3 days, this is a different issue.
Now even with La Poste it is stating in SS there is no tracking when there is, the more reports Etsy gets about this the chances are they might do something.
I did get an email this morning saying the tracking hadn't updated and tracking will update when the package moves, I had to explain again that that is not the issue the issue was the number is not being recognised in SS.
Frustrating for sure.
