I am getting buyer after buyer, throwing complaints at me, one is on 180 mails from Etsy
to say their item has been dispatched, I talked to support who, well who did not support,
and suggested my customers do the complaint, problem there one is French and just not
getting is and still her spams are coming in, please can someone tell me if they know and or
will do a fix, my customers are getting urky.

I had this issue about 10 days ago, raised a concern with live chat & got nothing but a polite email saying the engineering team are looking into it.
However I turned off sending email shipping notifications both with Etsy & Royal Mail as I have a Click and drop account with them and the emails that were being sent to my customers stopped, so it could be a fault with Royal Mail notifications.
Don't know if you have a an account with Royal Mail but if you do try turning the notifications off there, it maybe an issue with them.

I don't have Royal Mail with Etsy, and this is my todays people, these techies could just turn off the emails, it's getting on my customers nerves here is one that politely wrote to me today, and is Etsy going to compensate me, no I don't imagine they will....

So what happens now, three weeks+ and they can't manage to shut off the spamming?
I am getting stressed we are on tight lines and I am answering mail after mail saying the same thing, biting in to my time.
Please just shut off notifications, oh yes it seems to be mostly international as UK to UK they get it quicker, I don't use RMail at all for Etsy so it's not that.
Please just shut if all off before we start loosing more money.

I know sellers can opt out of receiving email from Etsy so I would think buyer only accounts could also. I have never had a buyer’s account so I’m not positive about it but I’ll see what I can find because I’m curious about it now.
@OmasFabricStash I know you can opt out of promotional emails and offers, but anything financial, and dealing with orders, I don't believe anyone can opt out of.
