Hey Etsy community & Support,
I'm dealing with a frustrating situation as my Etsy store (JUDEKSTORE) got unexpectedly thrown into vacation mode after I tried transitioning from an individual to a business seller two weeks ago. Despite submitting all required documents, my shop remains stuck in vacation mode, and Etsy's support team is yet to provide a solution. I attempted to switch back to an individual seller, but the vacation mode persists, with the only response from Etsy being that my account is under verification and now its more than two weeks, even though all documents are already verified. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Hoping for a quick resolution and grateful for any insights!
Best,

@FabioMcMustache Please help me!
I believe it can take up to 2 weeks for verification. Have you tried contacting Etsy? If you have received an email then reply to that email.
Thank you for your reply.
Yes I did contact Etsy and I am replying to all of their emails, however they are sending the same answers ( they keep telling to wait as it's under verification ) again and again without telling me the reason of the vacation mode which is really frustrating to me as etsy is my primary and only source of income
@JUDEKSTORE The reason for vacation mode is while they are verifying your info. It is quite normal for Etsy to do this.
@JJewellerySuppliesUK
I don't understand, what is taking so long verifying when all my documents are already verified ( and it is mentioned in my ID, it's not under verification there ).
Anyway thank you for your help, how much more time do you think it will take ?
I have the same problem, I opened a second shop on etsy, everything seemed ok but on the first sale they keep the payment pending for 3 days and then they put me in holiday mode and no one knows why they don't accept my documents (I have another shop that has been operating for years and still). The worst part is that there is no way to contact an operator, only automatic messages. In practice we don't know what the reason is and there seems to be no way out. Is there still a chat mode with an operator on esty support?
There is chat, but they are not qualified to do much of anything but tell you that they will have someone who can email you.
*THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THE OPERATOR *
This is really the biggest problem I am facing, etsy used to have an option to message and call the agent which is nowhere now, just an option to send emails.
@JUDEKSTORE and @Maurusmachine
Don't keep sending separate messages. Send one, then wait for their reply. Click the I Still Need Help link near the bottom of their reply. Keep doing that until they solve your problem.
Don't open any new message threads, or they will close the first one and kick you to the back of the line to start over with the canned responses. Keep it all in one thread. You may get 2 or 3 canned responses that do not address your problem, including one that might say their decision is final, before a real person even looks at it. You will know you have actually reached a person when they do something about your problem.
Try this link in the help section:
Etsy Asked Me to Confirm My Seller Info – Etsy Help
then scroll down to near the bottom that says Did this help - click NO
then click I would rather speak with a member of Etsy Support
then, I am sorry to say, all you can do is wait.
@LynnsLittleShop
Thank you very much for the help, I have tried this many times, it always make me reach that only option *email us* every time and the cycle repeats.
I'm so sorry this is happening to you.
This has been an ongoing problem for some time now. It can takes weeks and weeks which of course is outrageous but true. Check the forums because I remember reading the way you submit the documents is specific and not obvious. Something like everything had to be in one pdf rather than more than one even though they allow more than one. Hope that helps.
Tried it, I always end up in the usual menu which only leads to writing a message.
I'm sorry you are going through this.
